Make cargo measurable before it moves.

A practical planning centre for household goods, commercial cartons and palletised cargo. Build the facts first; route, acceptance, schedule and price are confirmed separately.

01 / DIRECTION

Choose the corridor before choosing the method.

Origin, destination and handoff needs change the questions operations must answer. These guides help you prepare without claiming a live route.

02 / CARGO PROFILE

Show the load as it will actually be handed over.

Photographs, final packed dimensions and a unit count are more useful than a broad label such as “household goods” or “stock”.

03 / SPACE DECISION

LCL and FCL solve different loading problems.

The right discussion starts with packed volume, total weight, handling units and access constraints—not with a method guessed from a keyword.

04 / OPERATING SCOPE

Confirm the service layer after the load is measurable.

Route, warehouse support and handoff tools can vary by cargo and location. Treat each item below as a confirmation question, not an included promise.

Sailing, terminal and available space

Ask for the actual origin handoff, destination coverage, sailing window, cutoff, estimated transit basis and space confirmation.

  • Schedule and cutoff

05 / PREPARATION FLOW

Eight checkpoints from first count to destination release.

This sequence mirrors a real cargo conversation while leaving every operational promise for verification.

  1. Safe cargo cartons being counted in a warehouse
    01

    List & count

Name the cargo and count each box, pallet or wrapped item.

  2. Worker applying stretch wrap and corner protection to a pallet
    02

    Pack first

Use the final protected state before measuring.

  3. Packed pallet being measured for CBM
    03

    Measure CBM

Capture length, width, height and quantity for each unit type.

  4. Finished packages being photographed for a cargo record
    04

    Photograph condition

Record every closed package and any fragile or irregular point.

  5. Packing checklist beside cargo measuring tools
    05

    Prepare documents

List what is available without guessing what is mandatory.

  6. Pallet wrap and straps being checked before handoff
    06

    Review handling

Confirm access, equipment, stackability and restriction questions.

  7. Forklift loading a secured pallet into a container
    07

    Load after confirmation

Method, booking and loading arrangement must be confirmed first.

  8. Cargo count being checked in a covered collection bay
    08

    Count at release

Check package count and visible condition at destination handoff.

06 / HANDOFF SCOPE

“Door-to-door” is not one automatic service.

Name the movement you actually need. Pickup and delivery remain separate items until they are confirmed.

01

Terminal → terminal

You arrange delivery to the confirmed origin handoff and collection at destination.

02

Door → terminal

An origin pickup is reviewed separately; destination collection remains yours.

03

Terminal → door

You deliver to origin handoff; destination delivery is reviewed separately.

04

Door → door

Both land legs and the sea leg must be explicitly scoped and confirmed.

07 / QUOTE READINESS

Give the reviewer evidence they can use.

A short visual record reduces follow-up questions and helps separate cargo facts from assumptions.

08 / BEFORE WHATSAPP

Useful answers before the first message.

01What should I send first?

Origin area, destination area, cargo description, package or pallet count, final packed dimensions, gross weight, photographs and handoff preference.

02How is the estimated price calculated?

The estimator multiplies physical volume by RM450 per CBM. The result is an early estimate; actual warehouse measurements determine the recalculated amount.

03Can household goods and commercial goods use the same preparation flow?

The measurement and evidence principles are similar, but document, restriction and handling questions may differ.

04Can I choose LCL or FCL immediately?

Use them as planning lenses. A real recommendation still depends on packed volume, weight, cargo type, equipment and route availability.

05Are pickup and delivery included?

Not automatically. State the desired handoff scope and obtain explicit confirmation for each land leg.

06Is RM450/CBM the final price?

No. It is an indicative calculator rate. Actual measurements, cargo details, acceptance and operating terms still require verification.
